Shelter is an action–thriller film starring Jason Statham and directed by Rick Roman Waugh.
The story follows a man named Mason, a former government spy/assassin who is now living in isolation on a remote island off the coast of Scotland with his dog. When a violent storm leaves a young girl named Jessie injured, Mason rescues her and brings her to his shelter.
However, this act of saving her leads to his past being discovered by a government agency that wants him eliminated. Mason is forced to leave his safe haven and go on the run to protect Jessie while fighting off those who are hunting him. Along the way, he must also confront his past once again.
I like watching movies because they are fun and allow me to temporarily escape from stressful situations in real life. When I watch a movie, I can enter the world of the characters and experience exciting stories, which helps me relax and feel happy.
When I feel tired from studying or daily responsibilities, watching movies helps me recharge. It also helps me understand other people’s feelings better because I can see how the characters think and feel. This makes me more understanding and empathetic toward people in real life.
